WE LAUNCHED OUR NEW WORKSPACE

We officially opened the new Radlab.

The new workspace has been designed to support the stellar growth of the business, as well as to stimulate a better working environment and workplace culture.  It’s designed to have an open working environment, with a central working space with break-out areas.

The company has introduced two dedicated editing suites or “labs” for post-production.  The first is a soundproof suite for audio recording and online editing; the second “lab” or the master suite is for clients and creatives to collaboratively work on projects. It features a 55” colour-matched OLED, full surround sound and custom soundproofing with a lounge area.

Radlab has been on a phenomenal growth trajectory, increasing revenue by 200% in the last financial year, and doubling the number of employees from six to 12 in the last year alone.

Jared Donkin, founder and managing director of Radlab explains: “Our growth has come from across the business and is a testament to the importance of content in the marketing mix.  The utilisation of content and creativity will always evolve, but we’ve positioned ourselves perfectly in the middle ground for agencies big or small.”

Over the last six years, Radlab has become one of the most prolific content production agencies in the industry, working for the likes of Tourism Fiji, Samsung, Jaguar Land Rover, Pernod Ricard, L’Oreal, Rhythm & Vines, Stuff, Red Bull and Ironman.

“The office has been designed so we can stay competitive in market and give us an edge” explains Donkin.  “Our space gives us new opportunities to work closely with creatives and clients on pre and post-production, delivering outputs to a much higher level.”

Radlab has invested heavily in the client-service side of its business, appointing a full-time producer and senior account manager for a more seamless experience with agencies and brands.  It has also invested heavily in production capabilities, appointing two dedicated animators and graphic artists, and three dedicated editors in post-production.

The agency has also strengthened its network of contractors outside the business to offer a wider range of senior creative direction, directors, and DOPs to ensure it can solve any creative brief, whilst retaining Radlab’s agency service and post-production speed and quality.

Jared Donkin has also recently partnered with Tony Collins from the Apprentice reality TV show to launched Byond, a digital media marketing service, for clients who want the full spectrum from creation to digital distribution.

Jared Donkin added: “We wouldn’t be able to invest in this space, and hire so many talented people, if it wasn’t for the support of the wider creative industry, our team and our clients.  We’ve been on a wild journey over the last six years, but this is just the beginning, and we’d like to thank everyone who has helped us get here today.”

The offices were officially opened on Friday March 24th for up to 100 industry guests.
